At First Pres, Lincoln we put an emphasis on education and learning from the perspective of faith development and discernment. Through all we teach and study, we are open to the movement of the Holy Spirit, guiding us toward an ever more faithful understanding of Scripture, Jesus, the church, and our part in God’s on-going ministry and mission in our world. We are a community where questions are honored and respected, where differences of opinion, political persuasion, or theological outlook enhance our understanding of God’s gracious activity in our lives, our community, and the world. As a church in the Reformed tradition, we are always open to how God is doing a new thing in our midst. Our learning opportunities are geared toward helping everyone grow in their faith and respond to the needs of our neighbors.

We have a standing date for fellowship every Tuesday afternoon. All are welcome to join us at the Guest House, on the square in Lincoln, Illinois. Enjoy good coffee, fine bakery items and warm fellowship as we nurture our church family relationships.

Men's Breakfast

Second Tuesday of the Month   | 8 am  |  Various Locations

The Men's Breakfast meets monthly on the second Tuesday morning of every month at the Cracker Barrel - Lincoln at 8  AM.  Please plan on joining this eclectic group for an interesting and enlightening discussion, along with delicious food.  All men of the church and friends are welcome.

The Fellowship Team of FPC promotes a monthly meet-up in various locations from 9 AM to 11 AM the first Saturday of every month This is an informal, come and go time open to men and women alike.  We hope this will be a helpful way to start the month when you enjoy a treat, and a little time getting to know each other. No need to RSVP, just show up.
